Christopher Floyd Jr., a professional saxophonist of over 20 years experience. He has had a passion for music for as long as he can remember. Starting out singing, playing the piano and drums at an early age. He fell in love with playing sax as a teenager and it has taken him places ever since. A graduate of Darlington High School, where he also was privileged to serve as assistant director of bands for two years under the direction of Mr. Ernest Stackhouse. He studied Music Education and Industry at South Carolina State University, where he played saxophone on the Symphonic and Jazz Ensembles. He's a former member of The Legendary Marching 101 Band, and has also had the pleasure of playing sax behind many local and national recording artists. Chris is a member of the Zeta Lambda Chapter of Iota Phi Theta Fraternity Inc. Although his First love is music , his Family is what drives him, his love of God is what keeps him. He has a lovely wife of over 10 years Tanesha Floyd, and a young son Isaiah James Floyd, and a beautiful daughter Jael De’Avionne Floyd.
